A woman has been convicted for several crimes in which she illegally impersonated a nurse in the West Shore.
West Shore RCMP launched an investigation into 52-year old Brigitte Cleroux in 2021 and found that she had been using stolen and forged documents while working in a medical facility in View Royal.
Cleroux has also been convicted of several similar crimes throughout BC and on December 20th, 2024, she was sentenced to seven years in prison for her crimes in View Royal.
Her crimes include assault, using a forged document, impersonation and fraud over $5,000.
Cleroux is currently serving time for similar crimes committed in Ontario, so the seven additional years will be added to the sentence she is serving there.
