Nanaimo RCMP seek suspect who allegedly stole $330 printer from Walmart

Nanaimo RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who allegedly stole a printer from Walmart valued at approximately $330.

Police say the theft occurred at approximately 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 2nd.

According to police, a store employee informed them that the suspect was seen picking the printer up, then walking directly to the self-checkout. 

He reportedly had an associate cut off the security tag before he walked out of the business without any attempt to pay for the printer.

Police describe the suspect as a Caucasian man, standing 5’11” tall, with a medium build and a moustache. 

He is shown in the photo wearing dark clothing, a ball cap and a white t-shirt.
