MovingWaldo determined city scores based on three key factors: quality of life, safety, and affordability.
Quality of life is assessed through feedback from residents and includes factors like job opportunities, education, healthcare, safety, transportation, and recreational amenities.
Safety is evaluated using the Crime Severity Index (CSI), which measures crime rates and severity.
Affordability is analyzed by reviewing housing prices and rental costs to identify areas with a range of affordable options.
Other cities on the list included Calgary, Alberta, scoring first place for its affordability, close proximity to Banff, Alberta, and crime rates in comparison to other large cities.
Close behind was Wellington County, Ontario in second place and third was LaSalle, Ontario.
