Evan Crofton Trio at Hermann’s Jazz Club
Don’t miss Evan Crofton, better known by his stage name Allistair Blu, at Hermann’s Jazz Club this Thursday!
Crofton is a versatile producer, vocalist and keyboardist based in Montréal. His work is heavily influenced by a wide variety of genres, including classic soul and jazz, West Coast hip hop, funk and lake-60’s psychedelic rock.

Watch Ryan Wilkes’ Award-Winning Documentary
Victoria-based, multi-talented storyteller Ryan Wilkes officially released his newest documentary on December 26th, The Bird in My Backyard—which he directed, produced and edited.
This stunning documentary was filmed in Victoria and follows citizen scientist, Eric Pittman, as he documents the journeys of two female Anna’s hummingbirds as they raise their young in his urban garden.
It’s a story that embraces our desire to explore and observe, and encourages us all to take the time to stop and soak in our surroundings.

Six-Course Wild Mushroom Dinner
The Courtney Room is hosting a curated six-course wild mushroom dinner!
Attendees can expect a mouth-watering menu accompanied by a talk from Richard Winder, the guest mycologist, who will be providing the history, biology and realistic health benefits of mushrooms.
The evening will kick off at 5:30 p.m. with sparkling wine (or non-alcoholic alternative), followed by the dinner and presentation at 6 p.m.

Local Music at The Mint
The Mint is hosting a special evening of music featuring three local, unique rock acts.
Featured artists included singer/songwriter Taylor Caspersen, showcasing his acoustic Canadiana music; Hope City Waters will follow with their firey indie rock sound; and lastly, Transitional Alien will be closing out the evening with hard hitting blues rock.

Sensory Night at Lucky Bar
Full Spec Entertainment is bringing guests at Lucky Bar a night of sensory experiences, with a focus on gentle soul-rocking deep bass.
