Three people hospitalized after serious two-vehicle crash on TCH in Duncan

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are investigating a serious motor vehicle collision that left three people hospitalized with serious injuries. 

On Saturday, October 26th, police responded to a report of a collision between two vehicles at the intersection of Mays Road and the Trans-Canada Highway. 

Police determined that a white sport utility vehicle (SUV) was turning left across the Trans-Canada Highway when it was struck by a blue SUV travelling southbound on the highway.

The driver of the blue SUV sustained serious injuries and had to be airlifted to the hospital. 

Both occupants in the white SUV also sustained serious injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.

As evidence was collected, portions of the highway were closed for around four hours.
