7 cruise ships are expected to dock in Victoria this week

Happy Monday, Victoria!

Thanksgiving long weekend is approaching and the city is abuzz with turkey frenzy, autumn-inspired decor, and the pumpkin picking craze.

How exciting that the city’s visitors will also have the opportunity to partake in the holiday festivities and possibly sit themselves down at a restaurant for a turkey dinner!

Ogden Point will see 17,092 passengers across 7 cruise ships, with the National Geographic Venture kicking us off this Monday morning at 8 a.m. (which was originally supposed to arrive Tuesday, October 8th).

Only 100 passengers are aboard the Venture, a huge difference from some of the larger ones we’ve seen with 3,500 passengers or more! Not to be underestimated, however, as this nimble ship provides an intimate experience with nature with the comfort of their accommodations.

The Venture is also the newest addition to the National Geographic-Lindblad fleet, so everything is in tip-top shape!

The cruise ships to follow are as such:

  • Tuesday, October 8th at 11 a.m.: Regatta with 684 passengers
  • Tuesday, October 8th at 5 p.m.: Carnival Spirit with 2,124 passengers
  • Wednesday, October 9th at 7:30 p.m.: Norwegian Jewel with 2,376 passengers
  • Friday, October 11th at 7:30 p.m.: Norwegian Bliss with 4,250 passengers
  • Saturday, October 12th at 7:30 p.m.: Norwegian Encore with 3,998 passengers
  • Sunday, October 13th at 7 a.m.: Majestic Princess with 3,560 passengers

Have a great week and happy exploring!
