14 cruise ships with over 38,000 passengers are expected to dock in Victoria this week

The summer may be steadily winding down, but the cruise ship season is still going strong! 

Plus, with the sun making another much-needed appearance, the warm days are sure to bring high spirits among our visitors and locals alike. 

The Greater Victoria Harbour Authority has 14 cruise ships scheduled to dock at Ogden Point this week, which totals 38,290 passengers!

Carnival Spirit is easing us into the week with 2,124 people on board—landing in Victoria at around 8 p.m. Monday, August 26th.

Similar to the day before, Tuesday, August 27th only brings us one ship, The Regatta. It’s set to arrive at 8 a.m. with a humble 684 passengers.

The cruise ships to follow are as such:

  • Wednesday, August 28th at 8 p.m.: Carnival Luminosa with 2,260 passengers
  • Thursday, August 29th at 5 p.m.: Ovation of the Seas with 4,180 passengers
  • Thursday, August 29th at 5 p.m.: Celebrity Edge with 2,918 passengers
  • Thursday, August 29th at 7:30 p.m.: Norwegian Sun with 1,936 passengers
  • Friday, August 30th at 7:30 p.m.: Norwegian Bliss with 4,250 passengers
  • Friday, August 30th at 8 p.m.: Eurodam with 2,104 passengers
  • Friday, August 30th at 9 p.m.: Discovery Princess with 3,660 passengers
  • Saturday, August 31st at 7 p.m.: Majestic Princess with 3,560 passengers
  • Saturday, August 31st at 7:30 p.m.: Norwegian Encore with 3,998 passengers
  • Saturday, August 31st at 8 p.m.: Westerdam with 1,840 passengers
  • Sunday, September 1st at 8 a.m.: Silver Muse with 596 passengers
  • Sunday, September 1st at 5 p.m.: Quantum of the Seas with 4,180 passengers
