Saanich Police seek help locating 45-year-old missing woman who is lost and likely afraid

Saanich Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 45-year-old woman, Jasmine Khaneja, who has not been seen since Sunday, June 9th. 

Police say she went missing between the hours of 12:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. from the PKOLS (Mount Doug)/Gordon Head area. 

Khaneja is reportedly non-verbal and functions at the capacity of a youth, so she may be frightened of strangers approaching her. 

She is described as a woman with medium build, dark brown hair, wearing a black winter/fall jacket, a pink top and black pajama pants.

Police ask that whoever sees Khaneja calls 911 rather than approaching her as she will likely be scared. 

They advise anyone who sees her to keep her in view and follow her at a distance until police can arrive.
