Happy mid-week, Victoria—we hope you’re enjoying the change in weather just as much as we are!

For this Wednesday, there’s a fun mix of environmental activities in honour of Ocean Week Victoria, as well as some rowdy socializing events including trivia and wing night.

Plus, there’s an evening of steel-guitar-based country, folk, and blues music at the Rebel Garage if you’re feeling a live performance!

Ocean Week Victoria

If you haven’t already heard, it’s Ocean Week in Victoria!

It kicked off on Saturday, June 1st and is back to provide the perfect opportunity to celebrate our deep blue neighbour and all the creatures that live there.

There are a multitude of events happening throughout the week, and some of Wednesday’s highlights include the Tsawout Beach Clean Up at 9:30 a.m., a marine conservation virtual presentation, catching the film Blue Whales in IMAX and more!

Sue Decker at The Rebel Garage

Head on over to the Rebel Garage for a night of slide guitar, torch and twang with the trio, Steel Amigos!

The trio includes musicians Sue Decker, Bob Blair and Chris Bauer—a crew of talented musicians that don’t often get the chance to come together, so they promise the audience a rare treat.

Tickets are just over $17 and can be purchased here.

Wing Wednesday at Hecklers Bar & Grill

Craving wings, Victoria?
