Book Launch: Holly Ringland and Tamara Goranson

Head downtown to Munro’s Books and celebrate a dual book launch for both Holly Ringland’s new novel, The Seven Skins of Esther Wilding and Tamara Goranson’s, The Oath of Bjorn—book 3 of her Vinland Viking Saga.

Ringland’s book is a haunting, magical novel about joy, grief, courage and transformation that follows from the international bestselling The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart.

On the Journey: Baroque & Romantic

The Christ Church Cathedral will be hosting their fourth On the Journey concert Lent series, “Baroque & Romantic.”

Featured performers include Delande Peters (oboe), Sihana Dorfsman (soprano) & Tony Booker (piano).

Admission is by donation, supporting the work of the Victoria Hospice Bereavement Fund.

Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease Presentation

Join community members and students at Gordon Head Recreation Centre for an informative event delving into the world of cognitive health.

UVic Institute on Aging & Lifelong Health have organized a presentation on “Exploring Cognitive Impairment, Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease,” presented to audiences by four UVic Graduate Students based on their research.

This event is free to attend, but due to limited seating, registration is required.
