Sooke Road has been reopened to traffic after a two-vehicle crash at Humpback Road closed the four lane stretch of highway for hours Saturday morning.
One vehicle ended up on its side on a cement barrier and nearly flipped over the shoulder. The gray sedan was also heavily damaged.
An engine block was torn from one of the vehicles and was in the middle of the road.
West Shore RCMP said there were non-life-threatening injuries.

Second Road Closure
A section of Burnside Road is also closed this morning near Tillicum Road. The reason is unclear but a photo sent in to Victoria Buzz shows several police cars and an ambulance on scene.
