Saanich Police are asking residents to be on the lookout for an injured black bear that is roaming around the Viaduct Avenue area in Saanich.
Police say the bear does not appear to be afraid of dogs or people.
B.C. Conservation Officers and the Saanich Pound have been notified.
Anyone who sees the bear is asked to call Saanich Police at 250-475-4321.
