Share

This afternoon, Victoria Police announced that they had arrested two men for carrying a quarter kilogram of fentanyl and a hundred grams of cocaine.

The suspects were heading to Victoria from the lower mainland and have been known to have gang affiliations.

Police believe that the drugs were meant to be distributed in downtown Victoria.

The two men were taken into custody as part of an ongoing investigation that has lasted several weeks so far.

The amount of fentanyl they were carrying was enough to kill approximately 125,000 people.
