Victoria Royals Home Opener

  • What: The Victoria Royals begin their 2017-18 WHL regular season on Friday, hosting the Vancouver Giants, their bitter BC Division rivals.
  • When: Friday, September 22nd. Puck drop is set for 7:05pm.

Victoria International Wine Festival

  • What: The Victoria International Wine Festival is an excellent opportunity to try new things. During a two-and-a-half hour tasting session, you have the chance to sample hundreds of vintages that have never before passed your palate.
  • When: September, Friday 22nd  | Tasting Session 1 – 7:00pm & September, Saturday 23rd | Tasting Session 2 – 3:00pm | *Tasting Session 3 – 7:00pm

Vancouver Island Pro Wrestling

  • What: Vancouver Island’s own wrestling group.  Featuring talent from The Island as well as all over Canada.
  • When: Friday, September 22nd. 7 PM – 10 PM
  • Where: Royal Canadian Legion Branch 91 761 Station Ave
  • Tickets: General 10$ in advance and $15 at the door. Front Row $15 in Advance and $20 at the door. Kids under 5 get in free with paying adult! (front row excluded)

Lantern Tour at Fort Rodd Hill

  • What: Grab your coats and step back in time as Fort Rodd Hill opens its doors for an exclusive, after-dark guided tour. See the gun batteries by lantern light and eavesdrop on re-enactors in uniform going about the daily activities of garrison life.
  • When: September 23rd, 7 PM to 9:15 PM
  • Where: Fort Rodd Hill & Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Site – 603 Fort Rodd Hill Road

Light Up the Hills

  • What: Light Up the Hills is a family-friendly outdoor festival of light. Held after dark, featured illuminated artworks will create a spectacular glowing effect throughout the community. Event participants will walk along a designated path, passing by various performances and artworks, and using hand-made lanterns to guide their way.
  • When: September 23rd Starts at 7:30 PM
  • Where: Belmont Secondary School (3041 Langford Lake Rd)

Fundraiser for Liam Comboye

  • What: Liam’s family and friends are helping organize a fundraiser to aid the GoFundMe campaign, and raise the remaining $25,000 of the original $50,000 goal.
  • When: September 24th, 12 PM – 2 PM
