Looking for something a little different to do this Halloween?

To celebrate Halloween this year, Monkey C Interactive’s Artcade, located at 706 Fort Street, will be opening new portals to worlds never seen before with their third annual Go Mad exhibit.

The exhibit will feature the brand-new “Orbit City Synthilator” and the “Pom Trees,” as well as features on alien worlds, mutant machines, experiments gone wrong and science gone mad.

The Halloween event opens on Wednesday, October 21st and will continue through November 1st, with the Artcade open Wednesdays through Sundays, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

This isn’t your typical Halloween haunted house. There are no jump scares—just strange science and eccentric art.

New this year, the Artcade will also be hosting a “Best of Weird, Victoria” costume contest, where guests can come in their best “mad” outfit.

The contest welcomes all mutants, weirdos, scientists and experiments gone wrong.

To enter, just ask one of the mad scientists on site to take a photo and give a method of contact.

Winners will be chosen on November 7th and will receive a custom gift from the Artcade, as well as the honour of being adored by the world.

For this special event, admission is $15, which will go towards keeping the space open through the slower winter months.

The Artcade operates year-round with a usual $10 admission to the space. It is free for seniors and students with a valid student ID.
