Nanaimo RCMP are asking for public assistance in locating 35-year-old Brian Mowbray.
According to police, Mowbray has not been heard from since the end of July 2026.
Investigators believe Mowbray could be living somewhere near the waterfront area of Nanaimo, but his exact whereabouts are unknown.
His family are concerned for his well-being.
Mowbray is described as standing 5’9” tall, weighing around 165 pounds, with brown hair often worn in a ponytail, blue eyes, a full beard and metal rimmed glasses.
Police say Mowbray is known to sometimes do farmhand work and may be travelling throughout the region seeking employment opportunities.
He is believed to be driving a 2005 red Toyota Echo with a BC licence plate reading JP913K.
Anyone who has seen Brian Mowbray, his vehicle or knows of his current whereabouts is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP at (250) 754-2345.
