Yeehaw country fans, get those cowboy boots ready!

On Saturday, August 29th, the Country Roads Music Festival will head to Starlight Stadium in Langford, bringing with it some of the best country artists from across the country.

The event will feature two stages, with Canadian country legends Doc Walker and Aaron Pritchett headlining the main stage.

Supporting acts include The Tumblin’ Dice, JaimesonRhy, Born Reckless and Eagle Eyes, and Eagles tribute band.

Gates to the festival will open at 3 p.m., and attendees will be able to enjoy country music all day long, as well as a beer garden, food trucks, VIP and plaza viewing sections and a lively plaza atmosphere.

The event is family-friendly and features a dedicated kids zone for all the little cowpokes.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blanket or low-back lawn chairs to the festival, as well as those cowboy hats and some sunscreen to protect from the sun.

Tickets start at $50 for adults or $25 for children under 12 and can be purchased here. Admission is free for children under five.

The country music spirit is alive and well on Vancouver Island, with thousands attending SunFest in Cowichan Lake at the end of July.

If you’ve got a hankering for some great country music, bring the family down to Langford on August 29th for the Country Roads Music Festival!
