There is some great news for vegans and plant-based foodies in Victoria!
VegFest, a festival centred around vegan and plant-based food will be taking place from Friday, August 14th to Saturday, August 15th at Centennial Square.
This is the second iteration of the festival, which aims to be an annual event moving forward.
The festival will feature dozens of local food trucks and vendors serving up tasty vegan treats, as well as presentations from speakers and performances from local buskers and artists.
The festival expects thousands of attendees.
The event is put on Positively Vegan, an organization dedicated to providing Canadian communities with vegan-friendly events.
Positively Vegan says their vision is to promote sustainability, ethical living and planetary and population health.
They hope VegFest sets itself apart as a positive event that celebrates vegans and plant-based food in Victoria and beyond.
