Port McNeill RCMP are looking to identify and locate a Good Samaritan who helped an injured woman late Tuesday evening at the Port McNeill hospital.

On June 23rd, police received a report of an adult woman who had been dropped off at the Port McNeill hospital with significant injuries.

Investigators believe her injuries were suspicious in nature and that criminality may have been involved.

The injured woman was treated at the hospital and later discharged in the early morning of Wednesday, June 24th, but left before police had a chance to speak with her.

Police are looking for anyone with information about the circumstances around the woman’s injuries, and specifically want to speak with the Good Samaritan who dropped her off at the hospital.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Port McNeill RCMP at (250) 956-4441.
