Support Victoria’s young writers at this teen-focused book launch

Share

Celebrate young Victoria writers at Story Studio’s teen book launch on Saturday, November 15th at NeighbourSpace.

This sold out literary event is happening from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and will showcase an anthology featuring stories from 16 teen writers who participated in Story Studio’s 2025 Summer Writing Studio.

This four-week online writing program teaches youth aged 12 to 18 how to take their storytelling skills to the next level and develop as writers.

Whether they’re crafting short stories, poems, or the first chapters of novels, the participating writers get the opportunity to be published in this special anthology.

Since it launched in 2015, Story Studio has worked with 12,000 youth and published 1500 youth-authored books yearly. Just like the anthology shared at tomorrow’s book launch.

Their goal is to inspire, educate, and empower local youth to become great storytellers through their accessible programs and workshops.

Story Studio is also hosting a Songs for Stories event at Fernwood Inn on November 26th—a music bingo fundraiser to help raise money for their literary workshops.

The fun starts at 6 p.m.—get your tickets here

Whether you’re an avid reader, aspiring writer, or looking to cheer on local talent, join Story Studio in supporting the young voices of Victoria!
