Save the date, because Cineplex Community Day is returning this month!

On Saturday, November 15th, Cineplex spots across Vancouver Island will open their doors for a morning filled with free movies, free gaming, and plenty of fun for the whole family.

From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., guests can visit Cineplex to take part in the event, which also helps raise money for BGC Canada (Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada).

The organization supports children and youth in more than 600 communities across the country, creating safe and welcoming spaces for young people to learn, grow, and build confidence.

“Over the past 13 years, our Community Day event has supported multiple charities, making differences in the communities in which we live and work,” said Cineplex President and CEO Ellis Jacob.

This year’s lineup features family favourites from Universal Pictures including Minions: The Rise of Gru, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Sing 2 and The Wild Robot.

Tickets are available in person on the morning of the event, first come, first served.

Until 11 a.m., guests can grab popcorn, drinks, or candy for $3 each, while XSCAPE arcades offer 30 minutes of free play.

One dollar from every food, drink, or game purchase at The Rec Room and Playdium will be donated to BGC Canada.
