VicPD are asking for the public’s help in locating a high-risk missing man who walked away from his care home Monday evening.
The man, identified only as Vernon, was last seen around 5:45 p.m. on June 2nd near Hillside Avenue and Cedar Hill Road.
According to police, Vernon is 82 years old and lives with dementia. Officers believe he may still be walking in the area.
He is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 5’7” tall with a medium build and dark black hair.
At the time he went missing, he was wearing a brown suit jacket, dark blue checkered pajama pants, and dark blue Skechers shoes.
Anyone who sees Vernon is asked to call the Victoria Police Department at 250-995-7654 and refer to file #25-20307.
