Cyclists, listen up!
BC Transit is offering free bus transportation to cyclists in and around Greater Victoria for Capital Bike’s GoByBike Week later this month.
From May 31st to June 6th, cyclists can ride BC Transit buses for free as part of the city’s ongoing commitment to sustainable transportation.
To take advantage of the free ride, all you need to do is bring your bike and load it onto the bus’s front bike rack, or simply show your helmet when you board!
All conventional BC Transit buses in the region come equipped with front-mounted bike racks, making it simple to mix and match modes of travel.
While most bikes are compatible with the racks, space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so riders are encouraged to plan accordingly.
If you wish to learn more about how to travel with your bike on a BC Transit bus, you can do so here.
In addition to free transit, GoByBike Week brings a variety of activities, including community events, prize giveaways and celebration stations.
So grab your helmet, hop on your bike, and enjoy the ride!
