An Amber Alert has been issued for two-year-old Theodore Lim, who was abducted at 10:40 a.m. today in East Vancouver and is believed to be in imminent danger.

Theodore is described as being two feet tall and weighing 35 pounds, with short, dark hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey striped t-shirt, grey pants, and black shoes with white soles. Theodore has a medical condition that requires a ventilator, but he is currently without a piece of the ventilator and may go into medical distress.

The ventilator is a 12×12-inch black box with an apparatus that attaches to Theodore’s face, making his situation more urgent.

Theodore was abducted by his father, Davis Lim, outside the West Coast Family Centre at East Broadway and Kaslo Street. They were last seen running west on Broadway from Kaslo Street around 10:40 a.m. today.

Investigators also believe Theodore is with Davis Lim’s two female siblings, aged 8 and 11.

The suspect, Davis Lim, is an Asian man with black hair and brown eyes. He stands approximately 5’9″ and weighs 150 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a green t-shirt, black pants, and black shoes as seen in the photos in the tweet below:

Davis Lim has access to two vehicles: a black 2010 BMW X5 with the B.C. license plate 324VCH and a blue 2006 Volkswagen Jetta with the BC license plate 325VCH.

The family may be traveling together in one of these vehicles.

The Vancouver Police Department is urging anyone who sees these vehicles, Theodore Lim, or Davis Lim to not approach them but to immediately call 9-1-1.

Anyone with information about Theodore’s whereabouts is asked to contact authorities immediately.

The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
