Victoria Royals to celebrate Fan Appreciation Night with some of the best deals of the season

Share

The Victoria Royals are closing out their regular season with a bang this Friday, March 14th, as they take on the Vancouver Giants for the last home game of the season.

But this isn’t just any game – it’s Fan Appreciation Night, and the team is pulling out all the stops to show their gratitude to the loyal fans who’ve supported them all season long.

To kick things off, the Royals are introducing their record-breaking Fan First Menu, an exclusive offer designed to make attending games even more affordable.

With the rising costs of sports events across North America, the Royals and GSL Sport and Entertainment are stepping up by rolling out a menu with reduced prices on select items at Gate 1 concessions.

Fans can now enjoy fan-favourite snacks without breaking the bank, as the Royals continue to prioritize the fan experience.

“This deal is another step in our continued commitment to elevate the fan experience for our community. We are continuously grateful to our fans for their support to our players, the venue, and this team. The purpose of this night is, simply, to say thank you and give back to all our fans to enjoy the product on the ice this season,” said Joey Poljanowski, VP of Hockey Operations.

And when you compare these prices to major sports venues around North America, the Royals’ special menu is a steal. For example, a hot dog at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City will cost you $4.33 CAD, while at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, a beer goes for $7.22 CAD.

The Royals’ pricing? You’ll be paying a lot less to fill up your belly and enjoy the game.

Jersey giveaway – a truly unique fan experience

But that’s not all! The Royals are giving fans the chance to take home the jerseys off the players’ backs! Yep, you heard that right.

After Friday’s game, the players will be handing over their game-worn jerseys in an on-ice presentation. All fans who attend the game and scan into the building will be automatically entered to win.

It’s an incredible opportunity to own a piece of Royals history.

The draw will happen during the first period, and the winners will be announced in the second period. If your ticket is drawn, head over to Guest Services before the end of the second intermission, and you’ll get the chance to go on the ice and collect your jersey directly from the player!

A season to remember – and a road trip ahead

On the ice, the Royals are looking to keep the momentum going into their final five games of the season, all on the road before the playoffs kick off.

They’ve had a strong record against the Vancouver Giants this season, with four wins and two shootout losses, so this final home game is the perfect opportunity to send off the regular season in style and build some energy heading into the post-season.

Get your tickets – it’s not too late!

Tickets are still available, and with prices starting at just $10 for kids under 12, there’s no reason to miss this action-packed night. Tickets are going fast so don’t wait too long!

This is your chance to support the team and celebrate everything that makes the Royals special.

The puck drops at 7:05 pm on March 14th, so grab your tickets, bring your family, and join the Royals for one last home game before they hit the road.

With a special menu, jersey giveaways, and an electric atmosphere, Fan Appreciation Night is one you won’t want to miss. See you at the rink!
