West Shore RCMP are seeking the public’s help following the sudden death of Langford resident on Tuesday.
According to West Shore RCMP, a 40-year-old Langford resident was found unconscious and later pronounced deceased on a sidewalk near Claude Road and Goldstream Avenue late Tuesday evening.
Emergency responders, including BC Emergency Health Services and the Langford Fire Department, arrived at the scene shortly after 10:45 p.m. on December 10th, where they administered life-saving measures.
Despite their efforts, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police say there is no indication of foul play at this time, but the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death remains ongoing.
West Shore RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in piecing together the man’s movements prior to his death. Investigators are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who was walking or driving along Claude Road between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on December 10th.
The deceased is described as a 40-year-old Caucasian man who was walking a black, medium-sized dog. He was last seen wearing dark jeans and a light-coloured coat.
Drivers with dash camera footage from the Claude Road/Goldstream Avenue area during this timeframe are also urged to come forward.
