16th Annual Habitat for Humanity Gingerbread Showcase
The 16th annual Gingerbread Showcase opens to the public this Friday, November 22nd, promising a delightful blend of family fun, creativity, and community spirit.
Presented by Habitat for Humanity Victoria, in partnership with Peninsula Co-op, and hosted by the Hotel Grand Pacific, this beloved event is back and awaits your curious eyes!
This year’s theme is “Through a Child’s Eyes,” which is bound to bring out the best in our local bakers and give everyone a peek into the minds of the artists.
Admission to the showcase is free, but visitors are encouraged to make a donation when voting for their favorite gingerbread house.
All proceeds will go towards Habitat for Humanity’s mission of providing affordable housing in the community.

Sidney’s Holiday Shopping Night
Kick off the holiday season with a festive night of shopping under twinkling lights at Downtown Sidney’s Holiday Shopping Night!
Visit Sidney this Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for late-night shopping, hot chocolate, visits with Santa, giveaways, live music, and plenty of holiday cheer.
Santa will be at the Sidney Pier Hotel from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Magic of Christmas Artisan Market
Magic of Christmas is back for their 10th annual Holiday Artisan market at Eagle Ridge Community Centre in Langford!
This year they’re are adding an extra shopping day to make it a three-day event—much more time to browse over 130 handmade artisans all under one roof.
Come join them from Friday, November 22nd to Sunday, November 24th. $3 admission for adults and children 12-years-old and under get in for free.

Jesse Roper at Royal Theatre
Don’t miss this special performance from Jesse Roper, with guest Nicky MacKenzie!
This intimate solo acoustic concert will take place at the Royal Theatre, where guests can expect to be dazzled by his energetic, fresh, soulful and R&B-inspired tracks from a forthcoming LP.

Friends of Dorothy is excited to host another Dinner & Drag happening this Friday!
