A 31-year-old Campbell River resident is recovering in hospital after being stabbed multiple times early Thursday morning.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. near the intersection of 13th Avenue and Dogwood Street.
Campbell River RCMP responded to the call and found the victim suffering from several stab wounds. He was quickly transported to the hospital, where he is expected to survive.
Despite several individuals being present at the scene, police have reported that these witnesses have been uncooperative.
The victim has also not provided additional information to aid the investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that the victim and the suspect may be known to each other.
