Shake It Off at Herald Street Brew Works
Herald Street Brew Works invites you for an evening of music, memories and electric vibes as DeeJade Nixon from Virgin Radio spins your favourite Taylor Swift tunes.
In addition to the music, there will also be a digital photobooth ready to capture you and your best pals adorned in Taylor Swift-inspired props.
Plus, enjoy a complimentary drink ticket with the purchase of admission—including a Swiftie inspired ‘Lavender Haze’ lemonade and a ‘Look What You Made Me Brew’ Lager!
Admission will also include a friendship bracelet, made and handed out by the Herald Street crew to ensure you have something to remember the evening by.
Tickets are available for purchase in-house at a flat rate of $35 for General Admission or on Eventbrite for $38.61 post-ticketing fees.

Pablo Cardenas Presents “Club Havana”
Hermann’s Jazz Club welcomes visitors in for their Club Havana evening, presented by Pablo Cardenas—a promised endless universe of rhythms!
Club Havana is an event dedicated to the history of popular Cuban music and the legendary musicians that were born there.
Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online or in person.

4th Annual Indigenous Music Festival and Market
The Indigenous Music Festival and Market is returning for their 4th year from Friday, July 26th to Saturday, July 27th!
Celebrate the wide variety of Indigenous performers and artisan makers from across Vancouver Island—bringing guests genres such as folk, rock, hip hop and more.
Food vendors will also be available!
It’s a free, two-night event that’s open to everyone.

Sarah Jane Scouten and Dana Sipos
Vinyl Envy is thrilled to present artists Sarah Jane Scouten and Dana Sipos!
Scouten is a Canadian folk and Americana songwriter and a master of revitalized nostalgia, with music rooted in bluegrass and classic, old-time music. Her songs pay their respects to 60s and 70s country songwriters Willie Nelson, John Prine, Bobby Gentry.
Sipos is known to bring forth powerful music that is both fragile and orchestral. She is a seeker of textured instrumentation and rich vocals, using both to bend genres and captivate audiences.

Strath Laughs
If you haven’t yet been, Strath Laughs is a new comedy room in downtown Victoria, located in the Maple Room above the Sticky Wicket Pub!
Their headliner for Friday’s performance is Evan Mumford, who has performed at Rifflandia, Tall Trees Festival and the Halifax Comedy Festival.
He has his own science-fiction improv podcast Must Be Nice and his first comedy special Evan Mumford Burns Everything will be released this fall.
Special guests include Jeni Gunn, Lena Mutafov and Keith Williams.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
