One of Victoria’s most beloved festivals will return this weekend!
Mark your calendars for this Saturday, July 20th, as the Art Gallery Paint-In, presented by TD Bank Group, returns to celebrate its 35th anniversary in vibrant style.
“For 35 years, the Art Gallery Paint-In, presented by TD Bank Group, has celebrated Vancouver Island art and artists,” said AGGV Director/CEO Nancy Noble.
“We are excited to welcome thousands of art lovers back to our neighbourhood. We hope everyone enjoys a day full of art, music, and fun on the street, in the Gallery, and at the Beer Garden while supporting our Island artists.”
The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria invites you to explore an entire day filled with creativity, music, and fun on Moss Street, from Fort Street to Clover Avenue.
Since its inception in 1989, the Art Gallery Paint-In has blossomed into one of Canada’s largest and most anticipated art festivals.
This year, over 160 talented artists from Vancouver and the Gulf Islands will showcase their works, covering an impressive range of disciplines from painting and sculpture to drawing and ceramics.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., artists will transform Moss Street into a colourful corridor of creativity.
Last year’s Paint-In drew 40,000 art enthusiasts, and this year’s event promises even more excitement! Enjoy eight Imagination Stations, various food and beverage vendors, festival info booths, and a pet station.
New this year: exclusive Art Gallery Paint-In tote bags available at Information Booths, the Gallery shop, and the AGGV Membership Booth.
Attendees will find a digital map of the event on Google Maps, so that it’s easy to navigate and locate your favourite spots.
