Forty-three years ago, on June 3rd, 1981, Linda Pedersen went missing in Victoria and VicPD says despite the case being so dated, the investigation continues.
VicPD has a ‘Historical Case Review Unit (HCRU)’ whose job it is to keep these types of investigations relevant and in people’s minds.
According to Canada’s missing people database, Pedersen left her boyfriend’s apartment that morning and went back to her own apartment before 11:30 a.m.
She had reportedly not shown up to meet a friend as scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on the day she went missing and she had left some medication and all her belongings behind in her apartment.
Pedersen was 24-years-old when she went missing, meaning today, she would be 67-years-old.
Below is a photo of her that was taken shortly before she went missing:

Anyone who has information about Linda’s whereabouts or what happened to her on June 3rd, 1981 should contact VicPD’s Historical Case Review Unit.
