Nanaimo RCMP are asking the public’s help in locating a missing 49-year-old man.
According to police, Bennett Kruse hasn’t been seen or heard from since May 24th, and was reported missing by his family on June 3rd.
Investigators were told that Kruse had allegedly been staying at a local motel, but when the family members went to check on him he was gone and most of his belongings were still inside.
Kruse is said to be relatively new to town and is not known to frequent any of the emergency shelters.
Investigators have been focusing their search efforts in the downtown core of Nanaimo and Harewood.
Kruse is described as a Caucasian man standing at 5’10” tall, weighing 150 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
