Trivia at Loghouse Pub

The Loghouse Pub is hosting a Seinfeld themed evening of brain teasers—so, this is your chance to show off all of the show-related knowledge you’ve stored away.

How to Start an Urban Farm
Join the City of Victoria and get tips and resources for either establishing or expanding an urban farm/food production business in the city!
There will be a variety of established local farmers and City staff present to answer questions and guide you in the right direction.
They believe offering workshop opportunities like this will further improve community access to healthy, local food while also providing a multitude of opportunities to local growers.
Food and refreshments will be provided, and although it is free to attend, you do have to RSVP here.

Tyler James Johnson & Band at the Victoria Event Centre
Head downtown to the Victoria Events Centre (VEC) and check out Tyler James Johnson & Band as they perform a series of folk and country tracks from latest album, Songs for Everyone.
Two local Vancouver Island musicians, Harvey Moon and Spencer Hiemstra, will be opening for the band!
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

UVic Café Historique at Hermann’s Jazz Club
Presented by Dr. David Zimmerman, the public is invited to listen in on UVic Café Historique’s presentation, “Progress: The History of Technology in Everyday Life.”
Dr. Zimmerman will be comparing competing viewpoints on technology’s impact on the world and whether that impact promotes progression or setbacks.
The admission fee is $5 at the door.

Brought to you by Destination Greater Victoria and the BC Restaurant and Food Services Association Victoria Branch, Dine Around will be celebrating its 20th anniversary—happening from January 26th through February 11th!
