Heads up for those planning to visit Dallas Road this weekend.
VicPD has issued a traffic advisory for this weekend as a stretch of Dallas Road will be closed for an event.
Between Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd, Triathlon Canada will be hosting the Super Sprint and Relay National Championships.
Throughout the event, VicPD officers will be on site providing security and monitoring the road closures between Cook Street and Memorial Crescent on Dallas Road.
The Clover Point loop will also be closed through the duration of the event.
While the event is ongoing, traffic detours will be in place from approximately 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
Police say the Clover Point loop will re-open around 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 23rd.
Furthermore, VicPD are asking drivers to remain patient while cyclists are in the area for the event and thank our communities for their support.
