Saanich Police investigate repeated vandalism and theft of traffic signs

Saanich Police have launched an investigation into repeated acts of alleged vandalism and theft targeting speed reduction signs. 

The traffic signs impacted are located in the 4200, 4300 and 4400 blocks of Torquay Drive.

Police say that since late April, there have been 10 incidents where signs have been damaged or stolen. The most recent incident occurred on July 13th.

Saanich Police did not detail what the vandalism entailed and did not provide photos of the damaged signs. 

Anyone who witnessed these incidents, noticed suspicious activity near these signs or has information on the matter should call Saanich Police at (250) 475-4321, citing file number 26-8715.
