The parade will begin mustering at Centennial Square at 11 a.m., travel south on Government Street and finish at the grounds of the BC legislature.

Upon arrival at the grounds, there will be performances and demonstrations of traditional Highland Games events.

It will consist of pipe bands, highland dancers and members of local Celtic and Scottish organizations in the region

Organizers encourage anyone with Scottish or Celtic heritage who has a family tartan to wear (or anyone who simply likes the fashion) to show it off at the event!

VicPD are advising drivers, pedestrians and cyclists that there will be road closures from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the parade.
