Saanich Police arrested seven individuals after they allegedly broke into a home and barricaded themselves inside.

Just before 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26th, Saanich Police received a report of a break and enter in progress in the 100 block of Battleford Avenue.

Patrol officers, members of the Integrated Canine Service and the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team (GVERT) responded and contained the scene around the home.

Investigators say they determined that several individuals had allegedly entered the residence and refused to leave.
