One of Langford’s most popular events will return bigger than ever this summer

A popular Westshore event known for its sugar-packed lineup is making its return this summer and it’s shaping up to be its biggest year yet.

Sweet Street is returning to Westshore Town Centre for its fifth year, bringing dozens of local vendors, live entertainment and a full afternoon of family-friendly fun.

Set to take over the Cineplex parking lot on Saturday, June 20th, the free event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and promises a mix of treats, activities and a few new additions.

Organizers say nearly 40 vendors will be on site, offering everything from cotton candy and gourmet cookies to ice cream, cakes and international desserts.

The event has grown steadily over the years, becoming a go-to summer outing in the Westshore.

Along with the food, visitors can expect music, games, giveaways, and interactive activities throughout the day. A licensed area has also been added this year, allowing guests to enjoy dessert-inspired cocktails, along with beer and cider from a local distillery.

“Sweet Street has become a summer tradition in the Westshore, and we love seeing people come together to enjoy it,” says Laura Savage, General Manager of Westshore Town Centre.

“This year’s event brings even more local flavour, entertainment, and fun—plus a few new surprises—making it a great day out for families, friends, and dessert lovers alike.”

Victoria Buzz will also be on-site hosting a booth with giveaways, while a Virgin Radio Victoria host is set to broadcast live from the event.
