Victoria’s most dazzling night is back!
The Shine Gala is returning to the Fairmont Empress Crystal Ballroom for an evening of high fashion and high energy for a meaningful cause on Saturday, May 2nd.
This year’s theme, ‘Casino & Couture,’ combines the excitement of the casino floor with the glamour of the catwalk to raise funds for young patients at BC Children’s Hospital.
Hosted by the Shine Committee, a dedicated group of volunteers, this annual fundraiser is known for delivering a stylish and inspiring evening while making a real difference for children and families who rely on specialized medical care.
Last year, Shine Gala raised an incredible $112,000, and organizers are hoping to make an equally powerful impact again this year.
The evening begins at 5 p.m. in the Palm Court, where guests will sip champagne, snap photos at the photo booth, and browse the silent auction filled with exciting items and experiences. Plus, guests can also try their luck at fun casino games for a chance to win fabulous prizes.
Dinner will be served at 6 p.m., with wine available at the table and a cash bar before the show begins at 8 p.m., launching a dazzling fashion showcase.
Tickets are $275 per person and include a gourmet three-course meal, a fabulous lineup of spring couture, casino-style games with prizes, and access to the grand auction.
For an even more elevated experience, VIP tickets are available for $375, which include an exclusive reception, a VIP goodie bag, and the chance to win a downtown Victoria staycation.
