Nanaimo RCMP have notified the public of an increased presence in the 600 block of Milton Street as officers execute a search warrant on an alleged drug house.
Police say that the search began at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25th, with Nanaimo RCMP’s drug unit and the Vancouver Island RCMP Emergency Response Team (ERT) at the scene.
The search is currently ongoing.
As of this publication, police are not sharing any further details.
