Oak Bay teen reported missing last seen in downtown Victoria

Oak Bay Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 16-year-old teen who has been reported missing.

According to police, Matthew, who also goes by the nickname “Ash,” was reported missing on February 12th. He was last seen on February 11th in the 900 block of Yates Street in downtown Victoria.

Matthew is described as a Caucasian boy, standing 6′ tall with a slim build and short brown hair. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing all black clothing, including a black zip-up jacket with an unknown logo, black steel-toe boots and black jeans.

Police say he typically travels on foot and uses BC Transit. He is also known to frequent the Colwood area.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen Matthew or who has information about his whereabouts to contact the Oak Bay Police Department’s non-emergency line at (250) 592-2424.
