If you’re looking for the perfect spa getaway, these four Vancouver Island spas should be at the top of your list.
Spas of American recently revealed its Top 100 Spas of 2025 list, which included 22 spas across Canada—four of them located on Vancouver Island, with two right here in Victoria.
In their 2024 roundup of spas, only 20 Canadian spas made the list, with just two Island spots mentioned. Both of those have returned again this year, joined by two new Island additions.
Topping Vancouver Island rankings is the Grotto Spa at Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort in Parksville, which placed 24th overall and was also honoured in 2024.
This comes to no surprise with the award-winning spa being nestled in by the ocean that invites guests to relax at their own pace, moving between indoor and outdoor spaces that include a mineral pool, whirlpool, sauna, and more.
Victoria’s Boathouse Spa at Oak Bay Beach Hotel ranked 41st, earning its second consecutive appearance on the list. Known for its oceanfront setting, the spa offers a wide range of facials, massages, and treatments.
Plus, guests can unwind in the iconic pool and hot tubs directly above the ocean while taking in sweeping coastal views.
New additions to the 2025 list include Kingfisher Pacific Resort & Spa in Courtenay, which ranked 55th, and the Willow Stream Spa at The Fairmont Empress in Victoria, which placed 56th.
