UVic Vikes vs UNBC Timberwolves

Catch Thursday night’s basketball action as UVic’s men’s and women’s teams take on the UNBC Timberwolves.

The men’s team is riding a strong winning streak and currently sits first in the Canada West Pacific division with a 13–2 record, while the women’s team enters the matchup ranked fifth.

Adult tickets are $14, but UVic students get in for free—grab your tickets here!

Dine Around 2026 Gala Launch

Clear your calendars—Dine Around and Stay in Town is launching the 17-day food festival with their annual Gala!

Hosted at the beautiful Crystal Garden, the Gala features abundant restaurant bites and delicious beverages from local restaurants, wineries, cideries, and breweries. 

To pair, there will be live entertainment, live music and plenty of mixing and mingling.

The Secret Agent at The Vic Theatre

A night of suspense, history, and personal reckoning. 

In this gripping 1977-set political thriller, Wagner Moura delivers a career-defining performance as a fugitive professor haunted by Brazil’s military dictatorship. 

Moura won for Best Actor and Kleber Mendonça Filho took home the Best Director prize at Cannes in 2025.
