Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and the Victoria Royals have made it their goal this weekend to give back to those who need it most.
This Friday marks their ‘Goals of Giving’ game—a partnership with the Mustard Seed, and presented by our very own Victoria Buzz.
Not only will Friday night feature a spirited tilt versus division rivals the Everett Silvertips, but also a chance for attendees to donate non-perishable food items, clothing, and toiletry and hygiene items to those in need.
Plus, the more you give, the more you save—for each item donated, you can score 1% off at the Team Store—up to 40% off!
Puck drop for the game is slated for 7:05 p.m., and tickets are still available online here.
This game will be the first of two during a double header for the Victoria Royals, where they will face Everett both Friday and Saturday night.
Don your best blue and white and come out support not only your Victoria Royals on Friday night, but the entire community of Greater Victoria!
Mustard Seed will be on-site to collect your donations, and we can all come together with the goal of giving back this Thanksgiving weekend.
