Duncan man charged for alleged prowling in Nanaimo: RCMP

A 52-year-old man from Duncan has been charged with alleged prowling by the BC Prosecution Service. 

David Robert Hope was arrested on the evening of October 16th, when he reportedly attempted to open an exterior window of a residence and committed an indecent act outside the home.

The BC Prosecution Service had initially pressed numerous charges against Hope, but following additional Nanaimo RCMP investigators’ findings, he now faces additional charges as well. 

Hope now faces the following charges: four charges for indecent acts, two charges for break and enter with intent and two charges for voyeurism.

Nanaimo RCMP say that Hope will remain in custody until his next court appearance on December 22nd.
