A local developer, Aryze, and Wildwood Saunas have teamed up this October to allow Victorians to slow down, warm up and connect in a unique experience.
This endeavour has been dubbed the ‘No Sweat Social,’ and will see Wildwood station two wood-fired mobile saunas at Clover Point over the last two weekends of October.
This event will take place on the last two weekends of the month, on October 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th.
According to Aryze, guests will be able to access the saunas by booking their free 90-minute community sauna sessions online.
Both Aryze and Wildwood say they hope the No Sweat Social will spark warmth, reflection and spontaneous conversation with neighbours.
“Aryze believes that strong communities are built when neighbours have opportunities to connect and share joyful experiences together,” said Melanie Ransome, Director of Marketing and Communications at Aryze Developments.
“Victoria’s parks, shorelines and public spaces belong to everyone—and they should be places where people can gather, play, and imagine new possibilities for urban life.”
Aryze says they wanted to champion this four day event to promote equal access to wellness and recreation.
The developer’s position is that by bringing water therapy into the public realm, No Sweat Social will highlight how the city’s natural amenities can support health, connection and belonging.
Additionally, this will showcase the opportunities Victoria residents have to get recreational in the city’s urban environment.
No Sweat Social is open to all who are over 18-years-old, whether they be a longtime sauna enthusiast or if they are trying it out for the first time
