CFB Esquimalt hosting frightful and fun haunted house this Halloween

Share

Get ready for a night of jump-scares and candy!

This Halloween, CFB Esquimalt will be hosting a chilling haunted house that is open to the public.

The crew of the HMCS Venture training regiment will be hosting this haunted house and hope to bring out community members of all ages for a fun and frightful night just outside the perimeter of the base.

HMCS Venture says that the haunted house will be set up in the portables across from the main entrance to the base on Malvern and Peters Streets, with lots of balloons, signs and noise.

According to organizers, the scare factor is targeted at those who are 10-years-old and up.

They also noted that the actors can tone it down for younger kids who want to make their way through the haunted house accompanied by an adult.

In addition to the haunted house, there will be barbecued hot dogs and burgers available for purchase, as well as candy for the trick-or-treaters.

The haunted house will be open from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Halloween night only.

Entry to the haunted house will be by donation, with a recommended donation of $5. All proceeds of the event will be going to the National Defence Workplace Charitable Campaign (NDWCC).
