4 Halloween night bonfires (and fireworks) happening around Greater Victoria

Halloween has arrived and what better way to embrace the season than by joining a bonfire?

Whether you’re a fan of ghost stories, toasting marshmallows, or simply enjoying the warm glow on a crisp October evening, here are some fantastic bonfire events happening in and around Greater Victoria tongight:

Colwood Fire Hall Halloween Bonfire

Colwood is hosting its annual community bonfire at the fire hall. The event includes hot dogs, hot chocolate, treats, and a chance to meet the firefighters. They’re also collecting donations for the BC Burn Fund and a local scholarship fund.

  • Where: Colwood Fire Hall, 3215 Metchosin Road, Colwood
  • When: 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on October 31st

North Saanich Fire Department Halloween Bonfire & Fireworks

North Saanich Fire is putting on a full Halloween night event with a bonfire, free hot dogs and hot chocolate, and then fireworks scheduled for 7:15 p.m.

  • Where: North Saanich Fire Hall, 986 Wain Road, North Saanich
  • When: Festivities start at 6:00 p.m. on October 31st

Metchosin Fire Hall Halloween Bonfire

Metchosin is doing a community Halloween night at the fire hall with a bonfire, hot dogs, and a costume contest. No fireworks at this one (just the bonfire and activities).

  • Where: Metchosin Fire Hall, 4440 Happy Valley Road, Metchosin
  • When: Doors open 6:30 p.m. on October 31st

Central Saanich Community Bonfire & Fireworks

Central Saanich is running a Halloween bonfire and fireworks at Centennial Park. Fireworks scheduled for 8 p.m.

  • Where: Centennial Park (7500 block of Wallace Drive), Central Saanich
  • When: Starts 7:30 p.m. to ~9:00 p.m. on October 31st
