Menopolooza is back, Victoria!
This two-and-a-half day conference brings awareness and education to menopause and the female midlife experience, taking place at the Victoria Conference Centre from May 15th to 17th.
For every woman who has left a doctor’s appointment more confused than when she walked in, spent her lunch break scrolling TikTok trying to diagnose her hormones, or is attempting to balance aging parents, kids, and a body that suddenly feels like it belongs to someone else—Menopolooza is the event for you.
This event combines a girls’ weekend with a public health revolution, filling in the blanks when it comes to the often underrepresented and undereducated experience of menopause.
The weekend kicks off with a welcome reception on May 15th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., complete with snacks, dancing, and a chance to connect.
On Saturday, May 16th, Science & Sass runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., covering topics like menopause medicine, why midlife women are in the highest-risk window for substance abuse, what’s happening to your brain during perimenopause, pelvic health care, and more.
The day will feature keynote speakers Dr. Tracy Wayne (Rogers), Dawn Nickel, Tara Findlay, Susannah Stewart, and Miss Rosie Bits.
Also on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Roper Romp invites the community to take part in a free walk to raise awareness for menopause, starting at the Victoria Conference Centre and ending at the BC Legislature Building.
Everyone is welcome—participants can join for the walk or meet at the Legislature.
On Sunday, May 17th, Unf@ckwithable runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., including sessions on using your voice and having courageous conversations, re-authoring your story in midlife, strength training and movement, hormones and healing, proper nutrition, and advocating for change in women’s health.
Unf@ckwithable will feature keynote speakers Sarah Crawford-Bohl, Sarah Jane Smith, Jenn Farrell, Dr. Taylor Thurston, and Erin Roman.
With world-class expertise, Fairmont catering, honest conversation, and meaningful connection with other women going through the same things you are, this conference is designed to inform, empower, and transform.
Come for the community, stay for the science, and leave actually knowing what’s going on with your body.
Weekend tickets for Menopolooza are available now for $475—secure your spot before the event sells out.
