A well-loved BC snack brand is coming to Victoria.
Ayoub’s Dried Fruits and Nuts will soon open its first location on Vancouver Island in the former West End Gallery at the corner of Broad and View Streets, across from the Bay Centre.
The Vancouver-based chain is known for its fresh roasted nuts and a vibrant mix of dried fruits. It already has several shops across the Lower Mainland, but this will be its first expansion across the Strait.
Founded by Amir Hosh, Ayoub’s started as a small, family-run nut roasting shop and has grown into a successful Canadian brand with multiple storefronts.
Hosh credits much of his inspiration to his father, who first roasted nuts by hand in a small shop overseas. Over the past 16 years, the company has expanded with a focus on freshness, quality, and community.
These values helped them navigate challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, as they kept staff employed and shifted to delivery and online sales.
Walking into an Ayoub’s store goes beyond being a quick snack stop. Each location offers a colorful, inviting space where small-batch nut mixes, handcrafted sweets, and seasonal specialties are roasted in-house multiple times a week.
Customers can expect bold flavors, attentive service, and a wide range of options to explore.
With the new Broad Street location, Ayoub’s will introduce its signature blends and small-batch roasted treats to Vancouver Island shoppers for the first time.
The store is expected to open by January, with a coffee shop also planned for the other side of the building on View Street.
